SHIPPNG POLICY
A
Baby's Place will ship bedding and accessories to all 50 states
including Puerto Rico, Guam and military (APO/FPO) locations. We also
provide international shipping for Canadian customers. As all of our
products are ordered specifically for you, delivery time from the
manufacturer can take up to 8 weeks. Delivery times may vary. Neither A
Baby's Place nor the manufacturer can be held liable for production and
shipping delays. Please read our Special Order policy for more
information.
Free
Shipping.
A Baby's Place is
committed to offering you outstanding values at
exceptional prices. As an added bonus we are offering free
shipping on all orders over $99. This limited time offer is
only valid on orders delivered within the Continental United States and
does not apply to orders delivered to APO/FPO addresses, Alaska,
Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico or Canada. Some orders for moses
baskets, bassinets, furniture, wicker hampers, toy chests and rolling
storage chests may be excluded from this
offer.
Shipping
within Continental United States.
A
shipping fee of $7.50 is charged on all orders less than $99 that
ship via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground/Home service.
Shipping outside
Continental United States.
Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam or APO/FPO locations
will ship via US Priority Mail. When an order is placed that
shipping to one of these locations, an email will be sent which
contains a shipping quote. Please allow up to 24 hours to
receive this quote. Once you receive the shipping quote you
can either proceed with the order or cancel it online.
All
items may not be available for delivery these locations.
Shipping to Canada.
Bedding
and accessory orders will be shipped to Canada via UPS. When
an order is placed for shipping to Canada, an email will be sent which
contains a shipping quote. Please allow up to 24 hours to
receive this quote. Once you receive the shipping quote you
can either proceed with the order or cancel it. The recipient
of the order will be responsible for all applicable import duties and
taxes. All items may not be available for delivery to Canada.
Incorrect Shipping
Address Provided.
In effort to minimize shipping costs we ask that customers provide the
correct shipping address at the time the order is placed.
Packages shipped or re-routed due to an incorrect shipping address will
incur additional shipping charges. Once the
products are returned to our warehouse a credit will be issued minus
the actual shipping cost of sending the package to you. This
shipping charge applies to all orders, including orders shipped under a
“free shipping” promotion.
Refusal of
Delivery.
Once the products are returned to our warehouse a credit will be issued
minus the actual shipping cost of sending the package to you.
This additional shipping charge applies to all orders, including orders
shipped under a “free shipping” promotion.
Order never
received?
Once your order leaves our warehouse we will send you an email
containing shipping and transit information. Most packages
should arrive at their destination within 14 days. For
detailed delivery information please track your package with the
appropriate carrier. If your package is not received within 5
days of the carrier's posted delivery date, please contact us so that
we may file a claim with the shipper.
RETURN &
EXCHANGE
POLICY
Closeout
Merchandise. Items
marked
“sale” or “closeout items” are
non-returnable for refund or exchange.
Return Orders.
If,
for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your order, you
may return items in their original condition within 15 days of delivery
date; no questions asked. Since most merchandise
sold at A Baby's Place is ordered specifically for you, a restocking
fee up to 20% may be applied to returned orders. Personalized items,
fabric by the yard and opened wallpaper border is non-refundable and
non-returnable. Return shipping is the customer's
responsibility. Once the products are returned to our
warehouse a credit will be issued to the original credit card minus the
actual shipping cost of sending the package to you. This
shipping charge applies to all orders, including orders shipped under a
“free shipping” promotion. Shipping costs
are only refundable if the items received are damaged or incorrect.
All
returned products must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
and must be unused, unwashed, securely packed in the original packaging
and include all paperwork and warranty cards. If packaging is not in
its original condition, the items will be returned to you. To
request an RMA please send an email to
returns@ababysplace.com and provide the
following information: order number; name of product to be returned;
condition of product; reason for return and whether you would like a
replacement, exchange or refund.
Once the RMA
has been issued, your returned items must arrive in our warehouse
within 20 days.
The
return shipping address will be proivded at the same time the RMA
is issued.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and are encouraged
to send packages back via insured methods such as UPS Ground or Federal
Express. A Baby's Place is not responsible for
items that are damaged, lost or delayed during shipment. Please allow
15 business days from the time the item is received in our warehouse to
process your return. Credit card refunds may not appear on
your statement until the following billing cycle.
A
Baby's Place makes every attempt for our photos to be the closest color
match to the actual colors used in the bedding and
accessories. We suggest you request fabric swatches to
confirm color and texture as we will not be held responsible for the
difference in color and texture. Swatch requests can be sent
to fabricsamples@ababysplace.com.
Returning a Gift.
Bedding and accessories received as gifts are subject to the terms of
our standard return policy. An in-store credit will be issued
instead of crediting the purchaser's credit card.
Cancelled Orders.
We
understand that from time to time situations may occur which might
cause you to cancel an existing order. Not to worry;
it’s easy with A Baby's Place. Just contact us at customerservice@ababysplace.com
within
12 hours of placing your order and we will modify or cancel your
order free of charge. Orders cancelled once they have been
placed with the manufacturer are subject to a 10% handling
fee. If an order has shipped, it then qualifies as a
return. Please see our Return Policy for additional
information.
Damaged or
Defective
Merchandise.
If you receive items that are damaged or defective we will gladly
replace them for you at no charge. Please send an email to customerservice@ababysplace.comand
provide the order number, product name and reason for
replacement. If items are damaged in transit, please be sure
to keep the original shipping box until you are instructed dispose of
it.
If
after 30 days your product becomes defective, please contact the
manufacturer directly for repairs or replacements. If you can
no longer locate that information, we will gladly provide it for you.
SALES TAX POLICY
California
State law requires that we
charge an 8.25% sales tax to items sold and shipped within
California. Sales tax is applied to the total amount of each
order, excluding shipping charges. Items sold and shipped
outside of California will not incur sales tax
PAYMENT METHODS
We
gladly accept
Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card,
American Express and money
orders.
A
Baby's Place takes
every precaution to protect
your personal information. We employ the latest encryption
technology (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) to help safeguard your credit
card number and other highly sensitive information. When you
place your order you will be asked to enter your credit card
information via our secure online order form. If you choose
not to enter your credit card number online please contact our customer
service department at 888-553-2229 and they will be happy to
assist you.
Our
credit card processing system will verify your credit card and
authorize your purchase, but we will not bill your credit card until
your items ship. For your protection, credit card orders
shipped to an address other than the billing address may require
additional verification.
